Is the pricing based upon usage or size of my site and/or knowledge?

We offer simple "one-size fits most" pricing that caters to 95% of our site audience's requirements and intended use. For more granular information, please visit our Terms of Service. If you are unsure if your site will fit into our audience's profile, please reach out to our team with your: website URL website size (unique URLs) website DAU (daily average users) knowledge repository size (number of files and average file size) and we will be happy to answer all your questions. At this time, our app will not onboard sites with more than 1500 unique URLs in a self-service fashion.

What if I entered the wrong URL by mistake?

Accepted Answer

If you enter the wrong URL, it's best to cancel the process if possible. If you complete the setup with the wrong URL, you may need to delete that site from your dashboard and start the onboarding process again with the correct URL.

Can I use Sideconvo while my site is “Preparing…”?

Accepted Answer

You will need to wait until the initial preparation and crawling are complete. Once the status changes, you'll have full access to manage your AI, customize its settings, and install it on your website.

How long does the “Site Preparation” step take?

Accepted Answer

The time can vary depending on the size and complexity of your website. For smaller sites, it may only take a few minutes. For larger sites with many pages, it might take a bit longer.

What does the “Preparing…” status on my dashboard mean?

This status indicates that Sideconvo is actively crawling the pages of your website and building the initial knowledge base for your AI assistant. This is the final step in the setup process.

Do I get a trial period?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if this is the first site you are adding to your account, you will be offered a trial period to explore the features before your first billing cycle begins.

Is my payment information secure?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. All billing information is handled by Stripe, a certified PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. Sideconvo does not store your credit card details on its servers.

Can I change my subscription plan later?

Yes, you can typically manage your subscription, including upgrading or downgrading your plan, from your account settings after the initial setup is complete.

What are “hosts” or “subdomains,” and why do I need to confirm them?

Hosts or subdomains are different sections of your website. For example, your main site might be http://www.your-site.com and your blog might be blog.your-site.com. By confirming which ones to include, you are telling Sideconvo which parts of your website it should use for its knowledge.

What happens after I enter my site URL during onboarding?

Sideconvo begins an automated analysis of your website to detect its structure, such as how many pages it has and if it uses multiple subdomains (e.g., blog.your-site.com).

How long does the entire onboarding process take?

The setup process is very quick! Most users can complete all the steps, from entering their URL to activating their subscription, in under five minutes.
